The Baddest Chic: She LIT! is an interactive workshop experience exploring relational dynamics through the art of spoken-word. Creativity is key and the vehicle for a new sense of self-empowerment. 

As Keynote speaker, Dr. Universe Konadu will bring her unique approach to the students, teachers, faculty, staff and visitors of Academy of the Arts at Henry Snyder High School's Annual Women's Day, encouraging, challenging and inspiring event participants to be the very best version of themselves.  

Verses and visuals are the perfect compliment to one another as UNIverse spits FIRE bringing her own special flare to G Mxntality, the debut gallery showing for Dallas artist, Giovanni Perkins. This vibrant exhibit will display 15 paradoxical pieces that speak to both the lover and fighter within us all.

In addition to the artistic representation of this theme, every element of the event has been specifically selected to immerse attendees in "some hood and some good."

Join Universe Konadu, CEO and Chief Creative Visionary, for an interactive professional development designed to bring a deeper understanding to serving youth and families who have experienced trauma. Practitioners participate in engaging activities that provide invaluable tools and insight into creative approaches to healing pain.

This workshop is for professionals/practitioners, only.

This Saturday, 2/4/2017, we are having open interviews for, and providing special [full] scholarships to, youth referred by a social services agency or educational institution to the UNIVERSE KONADU Artistpreneur™ Academy for Emerging Leaders at the Saint Peter's University location.  This invitation is open to Hudson County residents, only, and requires registration.
